About the Move

WOW! What a weekend! If everyone would follow Vic's example with moving, it would never ever be a chore. It was a great time! His new house is really nice, has a big yard and on a quiet dead end road. I'm jealous! Vic's brother Carlos came up from LA land to help with the heavy lifting. Edie and I helped with the cleaning and driving. Then, after all was said and done, there was the partying. For those of you know about my partying habits, SURPRISE! No tossing of the cookies this time! HA! The wandering walk in the dark was the best part. The stars were so bright. Sighhh...So much fun! And Yeah Vic....HOUSE! Sooo coooool!

Last Day of Vacation...sighhhh

Hi Kids!

Well, the last 2 weeks have gone by so fast. Today is the last day of my vacation...I think I could use another week at least. Oh well! This last weekend was pretty cool! Vic came down to Burbank, we partied and watched Deadwood. All in all, a good time was had by everyone.
I drove back to NCAL yesterday. It was pretty uneventful..just a bit windy...
I ran a few errands and now am unpacking and getting ready for work...arrghhhh...
By the way...The work calls starting coming in at 5pm yesterday...again with the argghhh...

Is is too late to start selling t-shirts on the beach on some island far away from here??

And on that note...I'm outie...

Lots of Love

Buenos Tardes, Ninos!

Hola! We've returned from the "Mexican Riveria"! It seems they mostly want to do is sell you gaudy expensive jewelry at "wholesale" prices. Here's a rundown on the Ports of Call:

1) Cabo San Lucas- This little fishing village will now be known as "Tonapah by the Sea". Those of you who have been to this interesting Nevada town will get my meaning. It smelled of desperation. Their only income seems to be tourists. Real bad vibes and I'll not be going there again. Sorry Sammy! Not even Cabo Wabo could get me to come back!

2) Matzatlan- Not too bad. This little city has established industry in the form of Pacifico Beer and fishing besides the heavy tourist trade. I'm sure there's more industry that I've missed, but these are the two that seemed to be the most prevelant. We didn't spend much time here. I'd go back and take tours of Old Town as I here it is very interesting and beautiful.

3) Puerto Vallarta- Very, very beautiful! There are very green mountains surrounding the city. The bay is a huge extinct volcano. Dolphins keep the bay free of sharks. So Cool!! We spent some time on the pirate ship Marigalante. The ship sailed to a private beach where we spent two hours soaking up the sun, playing volleyball and dodging jellyfish. Yes, you read that correctly, dodging jellyfish. Apparently, this is the time of year that jellyfish migrate. The bay near the private pirate beach was full of them. It was pretty neat! After we came back, we ventured into town for a souvenir hunt. Again, this town has other industry besides tourism.

The cruise itself was really enjoyable and I highly recommend it to all of you!!! It's well worth the money and actually a better value as all of your meals are included.

Alrighty, Kids...I'm still fighting a bit of exhaustion and have essentially slept for two days, so I will bid you good night and sweet dreams!

Lots and Lots of Love!

VACATION!!!!!!!!!

Hi Kids!

Well, the vacation time is now upon us FINALLLY!!! I'll be crawling to the ship on Sunday and sailing away. I'm off to conquer Mexico or will it conquer me?? Stay tuned....This could be amusing...

I'm going to work on my books, read other books and soak up some much needed sun. Barring any 7 story tidal waves, I'll be back into port very early on my birthday, hopefully much more rested. Then, we will be starting the party week! There will be tattooing, BBQ, booze and yes, CAKE!! John has designed a special tattoo for me! I'm really excited!!

Alrighty...I'm off to take on the "Mexican Riviera". Adios!!!

Marrwige and Space-- The final frontiers?

Hi Kids!

Long time no write. It's been a long and busy week. Drive from NCAL, "Serenity" Screenings, re-organization meetings and a wedding. This all started Thursday. Wahooo!
"Serenity" ( based on the FireFly series for the few of you who may not know) was really cool! It's an action-packed thrill ride through the universe and I mean ACTION-PACKED...WOOFF!
At the end of the screening, we all had gaping mouths. I really wanted to yell..AGAIN!!! There are some upsetting parts of which I will not discuss. Go see the screening if you can! You're not getting the secrets out of me!!! If you miss this tantalizing preview, you'll just have to wait 'til September for the finished product. If you are a hardcore fan, you shouldn't be disappointed.
Mr.Whedon, again...Very well done!

Ahh..work..well..what is there to say..the "New World Order" has come in to fix things. It's workable and I think I can make things go with their organizational plans. There are a few snags, but nothing that can't be massaged a bit. We'll see.. I spent Friday afternoon/night listening to very frustrated and upset people who report to me and tried to soothe some fear..again I say..We'll see..

Marriage! Schenkie and Liz were married last night in Pasadena at the Museum of California Art. Beautiful ceremony. It was on top of the building. The weather was perfect and the sunset was beautiful!! I saw people that I hadn't seen in a good long while and played catchup most of the night! It was a wonderful night, with awesome food, good drink, good cigars and superb company! Fun was had by all!

I just realized that I'm starting to sound like those articles in community newspapers, talking about local folks and what's going on in their lives. Not so much a gossip column really, but a catch up article for those who don't have time to talk to their neighbors and friends or who no longer live in the area.. Hee...Ah..an amusing memory...k...

I'm still exhausted and have metric tons of work to complete before I can escape the country for a short time.

OH...hey! Please support CDBaby! I bought some pretty cool music from them. It's mostly small time artists, but there is some real talent out there. Uncle Stanard uses them for all of his sales. This store is out of Portland, Oregon and they are real cool people.

OK..I'm Outie...I've a long way to go and a short time to get there....

Lots of Love!
