And it's going to be chockful of piratey goodness! I'm going to be one of the bartenders for this occasion. And yes, you've guessed it...It's sangria time!!!
Cauldrons full of the lucious elixir!
There will be metric tons of saucy wenches and dashing pirates!!

Whoa to those of you who are not going to here...you all know who you are!

Fun Fun Fun and oh yes WINE!

Happy Friday, Kids! I cannot believe it's approaching the end of October! Sighhh...I worked right through summer! Oh well..it's time to dwell on fun and interesting things like great wines!
Quivira makes a wonderful Zinfandel (2002?). Renwood holds their own also with another flavorful Zin called Fiddletown. AND...I came across Guenoc's Claret (2000) which I'm thoroughly enjoying now. It's has an interesting peppery flavor with a hint of olive and coffee. I purchased all of this at Beverages and More during their buy one get one for 5 cents wine sale. Generally, I tend to shy away from these sales, but I'm soo glad that I took a chance this time.
I've decided that I need to take even more time to stop and "smell the grapes". After being real sick for almost 10 days I realized that working yourself to exhaustion isn't the answer to filling time. I'm going to be getting deeper into my wine studies, yoga and few othe extracurricular activities. I need fun right now as there are many unpleasant things happening at this time. The first item of fun will be wine and rental hunting this weekend in Napa. The next will be a potentially wild pirate party in PA next weekend. Ahh...I feel the wench coming out in me... I really do need to do a bit of pillaging.

Coming Up For Air

Hi Kids...

I'm finally coming up for some air. Work has been insane with this corporate wide reorganization. The upside to work is that I have acquired a new toy. I was given
Life has been crazy as my roommate finally moved into her own condo after a year.
Time for me to look for my own little abode as I've grown to really enjoy having my own space.
The Napa/Vallejo area seems to be the best area for me.

My body finally got my full attention this week. I was run down by a nasty cold virus. It' s been a week and I finally am starting to feel a bit human again. It helped me re-assess how I am running things in my life. There will be good changes coming out of it.

In the therapy realm.....
Therapy has been really helpful to me and I'm in my last module. This previous module was was considerably good.

In the wine realm..

Quivira Zinfandel is wonderful!! Very fruity and from my favorite area...Russian River area...

That's about it...I have many, many things romping through my head, so there will be more to come when I feel a little better and things are wired better at the condo.
